Yesterday's #NoKings event was a political fundraiser and rally under the guise of being a "protest".

I've been protesting my entire life and the hill I will die on is defending our right to do so.
However, one of the greatest downfalls of a movement is ignoring that what you're doing isn't getting results and looking for excuses to not escalate to a tactic that will get the results that you want.

The time for protests is long gone. We need general strikes across this country that shut down industry.
How many No Kings protests have there been? What changes have been the result?
What's the old saying? Doing the same thing over and over with the same results is the definition of insanity?

What the hell were people protesting against?
