For #FoodOnFriday, my wife made Brink Small’s Oatmeal Crispies with a recipe from her mother's notebook. They were quite tasty and I have requested another batch!

They did not last long either!

For #Stunday, to help celebrate International Women's Day, my wife let me make Chocolate Crinkle Cookies! Helen Fredell from Saint Paul, Minnesota is crediting for creating this recipe back in the 1950's.

I usually blanch or sauté the kale before I add it to the skillet.

One of my favorites dishes is kale and sweet potato hash, made with fresh kale from the greenhouse and purple sweet potatoes from last year. The sweet potatoes have a dry flesh that gets sweet when roasted in the cast iron skillet. I add the chopped kale at the end. #FoodOnFriday #kale #gardensky
