I have two days of work left until I'm on holiday for a week and a half and I'm so excited for what we're doing for the long weekend.
A blanket made of parallelograms. It has 22 colours to make a row and there will be 16 of these all together unless I run out of a colour before then. The colours rotate down as each new row is added with the first colour from the previous row becoming the final colour on the new row. Colours are all shades of orangey browns and pinks with a couple of grays, a green, and a blue to try and make it interesting. 20 out of the 22 colours are hand dyed.
Two weeks of knitting equals 30 new parallelograms added to my Hvammsvik Blanket (Stephen West). The first column did work great the first time so I changed out some colours and like this version way better.
A knitted shawl made from two triangles joined together at the sides to create a parallelogram. Coloured vary from speckled creams, yellow, pink, blues in a rainbowy sequence almost.
Adventurous Wrap by Ambah. Started at the end of December 2024 as a holiday project I did with my mum when I stayed with her. She lnit here own one at the same time. We've been doing Christmas/New Year knitalongs for the last few years. Made using Dye Studio 54 minis from more than one collection.
Went to see the Minecraft movie tonight. I enjoyed it way too much. No, I think I enjoyed it the way it was meant.

A v-neck wide jumper with very short, small sleeves laying on a maroon background. The jumper is made of variegated yarn in greens, pinks, yellows, and orangey bits.
Finally managed to sew in the ends and block my Boxy by Joji Locatelli. I've made most of the other Boxy jumpers but this is my favourite. The camera and lighting doesn't do it justice...the pooling isn't nearly as obvious. Looking forward to wearing this. #knitting

My son came to visit. Po ran off, she's scared of everyone but us. Lala's scared of Po and would rather avoid other people, that's preferable to having to deal with Po. Dipsy could care less about what Lala and Po get up to, but will avoid other people if possible. Lala's staying in tonight. #cats

Five skeins of 4 ply yarn. The left one is a tan base with teal, blue, yellow and rust. Next one is tan base with speckles of blue, rust, yellow. The middle one is all dark purples, blue, and teals. Next is a predominantly rusts and some brown, also on the tan base. The last one is the tan base with blue, teal, and some mid to dark red.
Dye Studio 54 colours from my visit on New Year's Day. About to start a wind-a-thon, a colour/gauge swatch, and then the jumper. Agnes by Brooklyn Tweed, I began in other yarn years ago and still want to make. #knitting

A 2 x 1 rib in deep purple sock yarn, the shortest of cuffs for a pair of socks. The background is a deep teal linen covered in a floral pattern of lighter and darker teals.
Dug up this gorgeous purple from my sock yarn scrap box. I'm making the Comfort Core B socks by Summer Lee. As short as possible.

Started a new project today. A pdf that won't work with Pattern Keeper or Markup R-XP despite me trying every option in both to get it to work. The symbols appear in both apps as a mess with 2 symbols overlaid in 1 square. Tried working from a printout. Nope, not for me. #crossstitch

Back to some #crossstitch for the rest of the month. This is Tarot Ten of Wands by Stephanie Law/HAED. It's 350 x 575. Started sometime early last year.
Slightly messy side seam with a good 10cm added after splitting for the arms, working front and back. Each side has 205 stitches. #knitting Stitch marker shows where I began.
