I’m laying track on the new shelf layout and painting 6mm GNW on the desk (28mm dwarf crossbows next !)
The ‘old’ TT was 1:100 , perfect for 15mm.. Hornbys new TT120 is using the continental 1/120 but no doubt close enough ! :-)
I think I remember seeing this at a show , awesome ! (There was another lovely one set in the south of England on the build up to D Day too , much greener and rural but still impressive )
I combine the hobbies but yet to join them up :) Off the shelf ‘oo’ is basically 1/76 , often thought there’s plenty of good British stuff for a 20mm ‘operation sea lion’ game .. O scale can be anything from 1/43 to 1/48 (depends on where you live) .. which isn’t too far off 28mm ?

Slaters Plastikard are often worth a look (7mm scale or O gauge not bad for 28mm wargames too) .. also might be some 1/48 dolls house stuff that’s useful ? That roof pattern is perhaps more European in which case model materials will be more pricey!

When I painted up the Burrows and Badgers figures (don’t tell Tom) , I found ‘looking at the real thing’ invaluable .. obvious perhaps , but things are often not the colours you think they’ll be !
