Year 2 Forensics & Criminal Investigation students impressed judges with high‑quality research projects, applying academic research skills to real forensic topics. Students are now using this work to support UCAS applications; a strong example of progression‑focused learning.

Our SEND horticulture students were recognised by Huntingdon's Mayor for their contribution to Huntingdon in Bloom and winning Anglia in Bloom. The team have been part of maintaining Hinchingbrooke Country Park, developing skills and delivering real community value.

It was lovely to hear from Woodlands Care Home to share how much the residents enjoyed receiving the hand-made Christmas cards from our Health and Social Care students.
The residents wanted to send through their thanks and appreciation for such a lovely gesture.

Well done for the fantastic Christmas Showcase performances from our Performing Arts Level 2 and Level 3 students. Showcasing their skills at two shows this week for family and friends, acts included music, monologues and performances from musicals such as Six, Chicago and more!

CRC Huntingdon is now offering free breakfasts to all students in a new pilot scheme in recognition of the positive impact that a healthy breakfast can have on focus, learning, attention and memory; to help all and reduce educational inequalities for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Well done to our Uniformed Public Service groups who took part in the uniform inspection. Thanks to Cambridge Constabulary who inspected the learners and awarded 1Y as the winners out of six groups and best dressed learner Omar Kassem. #wearecrc #publicservices

Last week we were delighted to welcome a group of senior government officials from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China to Cambridge Regional College. Representatives included government officials and heads of various Colleges of Further and Higher Education in China.
Our Engineering students were recently visited by Andrea Morreale from mission-critical communications specialists Sepura - and our big thanks to him for coming in!
