Afaik DMNS is only museum rad enough to include Cretaceous Cannabis in their Hell Creek diorama.

(There’s also a little gnome riding an ornithomimid, presumably unrelated)

Bald imperial guard soldier with dark brown uniform, green armor, a bionic arm holding a power sword snd a plasma pistol. Close by is a street lamp that looks like it’s emitting blueish light. There’s ruins and scatter terrain around him and a backdrop, well … in the back. Where else should it be? The concrete barriers are from Fenris Games.

I finished two miniatures today: Staff Sergeant F. Booth (he loves his inhaler) of the #4thMemnonRegiment and a Sector Imperialis street lamp.
Can’t decide which one I like better.

Well, he's partially wearing red at least 🤣

A sketch portrait of the dinosaur that *was* Asiatyrannus, but may now be reclassified as a juvenile Tabrbosauris - a close relative of T.rex.

So apparently Asiatyrannus has been reclassified as a juvenile Tarbosaurus, making my illustration from last year not exactly wrong, but certainly misnamed.

Given we had Velociraptor Awareness Day. Did you know, many species of famous theropods were named after Polish women in palaeontology. Velociraptor osmolskae & Citipati osmolskae are named after Halszka Osmólska, a Mongolian dinosaur expert, responsible for describing Deinocheirus and Gallimimus.

Incoming is the tank of the late Jurassic, the mighty and deadly Stegosaurus!

These guys are known for their iconic back plates and killer thagamoizer!

we don't know what the plates were for; it's more likely they were used for intimidation and to attract mates

Pretty happy with that hammer. Went with my gut on painting it - a couple of thin coats of the brightest orange I had, with progressively lighter drybrushes going from orange to red and a final gentle black drybrush. Easy, and it looks great!

This is a very interesting small Jurassic diorama from the Royal Ontario Museum. Obviously very old, but I find it oddly intriguing, from what's actually happening to the colors/textures/lighting.

Deis Esme, my Warlord-Sinister Psi-Titan (as pictured here) was definitely my Cold Dead Thing of the Match today in my game versus James’ Solar Auxilia in today’s game of Legions Imperialis. She definitely excels in a “target rich environment.” Cracking game but she did *embarrassingly* well.
