This is really promising for some of our circuit work. Is it possible to use the ATLAScre AAV in Rosa26 reporter mice (eg. Ai14)? Say inject the AAV in the spinal cord and look at tdTom+ neurons that are post-synaptic to spinal projections in the brain?

Fantastic effort from my friend & colleague on how the highly diverse subpopulations of the spinal dorsal horn develop and organize themselves into a complex network that encodes somatosensory inputs.

If you want to predict functional organization, you must look at transcription factors first.
