I think there’s a sort of emotional connection I get from books that is different from tv shows and movies. Living with the characters in my head, being able to flip back a few pages and see the pieces of a plot twist fall together, it just feels…different in a way I can’t quite describe.
Oh I thought it was an absolutely wonderful movie, it was just a very silly thing that you’d think a quality assurance person would have caught since the shot was so long. I almost wonder if it was done on purpose as rage bait since it seems to have drummed up quite a bit of conversation
Project Hail Mary was amazing but it looses a star for not balancing the damn centrifuge 😡

Suddenly, he leaned forward and pushed the vase aside so that he could make eye contact. Galen blinked at him. “There you are,” Sasha said, his voice much softer than he intended. Galen met his eyes, and Sasha took a moment to take him in. His eyes, though determined, were so tired. There were bags under them and exhaustion weighed on his shoulders like a rock. His hair was mussed, a few strands escaping from the knot and hanging in front of his face, but he was still here. Still ready to keep going. Sasha smiled and rested his cheek on his hand. “You’re rather like a dandelion yourself. Very resilient and determined.” To Sasha’s utter surprise, color bloomed in Galen’s cheek. He sat up and looked at Sasha with a furrowed brow, trying to work something out.

There's a scene in Songs of Broken Bells where one of the characters gets shrunk down and transported in another character's pocket (who can fly very fast) so that they could travel across a giant forest in less than a day. It's such a silly solution but I think it worked!
