Lucifer, to me, is absolutely the kind of partner who would treat that trust as a gift. Someone worthy of that gift.
And honestly, a more emotionally open, expressive Lucifer as a top? Also very hot.

And the fact that Alastor feels that safe and comfortable with Lucifer - while still remaining proud, strong, fully himself - that’s incredibly powerful. And yes, very hot.

Being bottom in bed isn’t about humiliation or giving something up. It’s just a position. And at least he can let go: of control, fear, trust issues, constant calculation. Just exist, feel, without power games or manipulation. Let himself be held, touched, cared for. Gives himself to Lucifer.

Exactly. And it only deepens his depression and sense of being unwanted. But one can't keep falling forever. I hope all of this is leading to Lu finally pulling himself back together and rising again in all his glory.

He wasn’t there for most of her life. He likely carries that guilt constantly. He sees himself as someone who lost the right to raise her, to correct her, to even push back.
And that alone puts him in an incredibly vulnerable position.

And the most painful part?
Lucifer doesn’t even try to “parent” her. He doesn’t shut her down, doesn’t correct her tone, doesn’t remind her that she’s talking to her father. Because he doesn’t think he has the right.

What he didn’t deserve was her reaction. Even if you put yourself in Charlie’s shoes and assume he ruined everything - her response is still miles away from how Lucifer reacted to her mistakes. Because when she broke down, he supported her. When he made a mistake - she lashed out.

Yes, the whole situation has its plot holes - partly because at that point the Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss canons could not cross.
But still. Even if Lucifer disrupted Charlie’s plans, he had the right to intervene. King of Hell, remember?

It was a serious attempt at stirring rebellion, interfering in things he doesn’t understand at all, and the consequences could’ve been far worse than just noise and chaos. It already was not about just hotel. Though all Charlie could think of was hotel and hotel along.
