Watched Akira last night, even sat in the cheap seats at the front it looked fantastic. So many of the smaller story beats I'd forgotten, but pacing, sound, story and visuals still hold up.

Just back from Akira in IMAX. Absolutely glorious. Audience stayed completely silent during the silent bits, outstanding stuff.

Power of Attorney in the UK : If you're setting up one of these, the i would *STRONGLY* advise you not to list the parents as each others attorneys and the kids as replacement attorneys. Getting a replacement attorney activated is a completely fucked up process and takes *ages*.

Evil Dead Rises was great, if the scares and kinetic gory gross violence match in The Mummy then it's going to be a hell of a horror ride.

Told my wife to have dinner ready at 6 or I'll obliterate her entire civilization. So anyway, she now charges me a fee to use the bathroom that used to be free, and I didn't get any dinner, but I'm pretty sure I won that exchange.

First morning in a week where I haven't immediately taken ibuprofen to deal with back pain, there's an odd twinge but generally moving ok. Hopefully in a couple of days that will have cleared and I build back into the gym routine.

Well that's today's gym session, half of the exercises due to back still aching. With the motorbike off road I walked there and back so exceeded my steps goal. Guess that's a win then...
