Got out the trusty Prusa Mini from its enclosure to do some maintenance and try to work out why it printed circular wheels oval shaped. Also replacing this part as it’s cracked and may be causing other issues. #3DPrinting

Tonight’s Xmas movie… The Long Kiss Goodnight. Kind of fun if somewhat sexist whilst trying so hard to be post modern but directed by someone who has no idea what that means and using a script written by teenagers.

Went for an eMTB ride today, very very muddy, but half of it fell off before I got back and took this picture. Super fun though, the danger of slipping and sliding but with none of the consequence because the worst case is slowly falling into a mud pool.

Done! Journey was super easy, everything went according to plan. Run was fine, six years in the making, about 2:06 in the end. Start was very confusing, 1k before the chip time and then 1km short. 🫤

This is early! Even for a day that’s not a Sunday. I am up for the Portsmouth Half Marathon that I’ve been entered for since 2019 (it was the full then, and again in 2020, until I moved it to the shorter run) and deferred every year since for injury reasons. This is the year!!!

Interesting in Boots earlier, gammon man walks in and looks at the 8 people long queue, mutters, “bloody ridiculous” and wanders out. Shortly after, woman of maybe a similar age with a shopping bag wheelie thing, sees same queue and says, “oh gosh, that’s a long queue, let’s come back later”

Tonight’s movie… Tombstone! Had never seen this before, it’s very watchable without feeling like a classic. Val Kilmer rocks in it though.

Got a new slightly bigger projection screen, hung it up after drilling more mounting holes… and it has a disturbingly distracting texture on light areas. I am not happy, not at all happy.
