Experimental architect Lebbeus Woods' "The New City" was a touchstone when designing Snake's HQ. In the manga, Snake's HQ is Kiddie Kastle (子供の城) itself. I wanted HQ to be distinct from Kiddie Kastle so that we could follow construction of the latter.
