I used to be a very political animal-but I can’t bear to watch the news very much at all anymore. I just watch wildlife and nature shows (or YouTube channels) and keep my head firmly in the sand.

It’s lovely. Such a nice friendship between the two of them too.

Sam & Ade Go Birding episode 2 is rather lovely, and aptly timed- as I shall be at Holkham at the weekend. It’s also Hank the Tanks first roadtrip ❤️

I can think of lots of reasons to do that - the UK is lovely. Get over, explore & enjoy! 😊

The instagram grift is awful. I can’t stand it and rarely engage with the app at all anymore. It’s no longer social media, it’s sales media.

Oh what a shame.. I don’t think you can watch from the US unless they licence it out at some point in the future.

Yes it is. It’s a good watch- next weeks episode is Norfolk.

Me either. I recorded it so that I could skip the multitude of adverts and watch it again. It was lovely, and I really enjoyed their gentle teasing of each other.

beautiful Lori 🤩 - and it’s very timely that you’ve just posted an image, as I was just listening to an episode of one of my favourite podcasts- and learning all about them. podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/t...

Life should never get in the way of being in nature with our cameras. Unfortunately it just doesn’t pay the bills *sigh*.
Hope you manage to get out soon too.

A blue tit (yellow breast and belly, white cheeks and face with a black band across the eyes, blue crown, green and blue-backed bird) sitting in a fence post, with bright greens and golds in the background.

I grabbed my camera for tonight’s dog walk, then lurked at the end of the drive for a while hoping something would drop by because the light was gorgeous to waste. #birds #bluetits #ukwildlife

Yes me too. I think it was 2yrs ago now that I deleted the account and all the data. I only kept it that long for my photo profile, as the people I chatted with were lovely. Fortunately a lot of them are here now.

Hi Dan (formerly stephsputnik at the other place). How’s life? Are any of the old reprobates here (ratukatu etc?)

I haven’t picked up my camera since I early February, but these guys smooching- as the sun was getting ready to set meant I had to grab a snap- even if just with my iPhone.

I do <6000m/yr in my car. It mostly gets dirty sat on the drive -or when he’s washing the dirt off his 😂.

😂 thanks Tony! Really looking forward to getting out and about. Just need a practice night away first- for any snagging.

I’m the same. It gets washed when it goes in for a service, or if it’s really filthy/the pigeons have been ‘busy’ then I might put it through a car wash. My neighbour is out every week doing his. Nobody got time for that 😂

Yes - it’s such a beautiful country ❤️

Thanks David! That’s what my neighbour (who is always cleaning his car) said 😂
But this what rain is for, right? 😂

He’s usually very good & is in the boot in my suv. But he’ll be soft crated and strapped in the lounge of the camper- so it’s a bit more restrictive. Hopefully he’ll be fine. He doesn’t have much say in the matter but with a long trip to Scotland it’s better that he’s comfy.

Thanks Nick! I’m really looking forward to getting out in it and exploring. Will let you know if we head to wales!

I hope so. He’ll definitely like to visit new places in it, so that may be an incentive
