I'm a very lucky fellow it seems, I had not just two but three roots in this particular tooth!
"Che strano!" is another of those phrases you really don't want to hear during root canal....
Aaaaaaarghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
The view from my dentust’s window is becoming a familiar one…
#NowPlaying Another "Lohengrin"? Why the hell not? Back to Bayreuth in 1954 with Eugen Jochum and a stellar cast...
A picture of a majestic humpback whale leaping from the seas with the caption “humpback whales are forming super-groups”, rather than simply admire the wonder of nature I am making a poor quality music gag
This is why whale punk had to happen
Bore da, Andy!
I'll pass them on if need be (*)
(* should anything remain)
Huzzah!
😂
We're on the case, Amy!
She is, and I will miss her very much.
Our retiring vicar has bequeathed me her drinks cabinet. @aysquared.bsky.social , I can't promise how much of this will be left by the time you arrive...

#NowPlaying I'm going to see "Lohengrin" on Wednesday, the only great Wagner opera I've never seen. So I'm getting in the mood with Kempe's recording; a thing of rare beauty.
If you’re not already doing so, give @barryf48.bsky.social a follow!
9 years in Hawkwind? That's like an Ice Age!
The Old Testament perhaps? Gifford never got Hammer and the like (although he seemed to have softened on them in his later years). But that book will always recall for me the thrill of seeing those early films for the first time....
I feared not....
Good old Magnus, who became a member of Hawkwind by accident.....
It's no exaggeration to say that this book was life-changing for me. I still get a little thrill every time I take it down and open it up, half a century on....
Kneale, bless him, had a lot of things he disliked. Donlevy was in good company...
If you've never seen Danger : Diabolik, you owe it to yourself to put that right! This looks like a good place to start....
Suits me fine over here. Nearly all my prog/horror/Welsh pals are here.
I drop back to the other place every so often to see if anyone's left a message. Suffice to say that even if BluSky tanked I wouldn't go back.
Can't beat a bit of Albert King!
Lovely!
Beyond any reasonable call of duty!
Vinnie would have had a go!
