This dish. Simple but pretty expensive. Yet it blows us away every time, an explosion of taste. The recipe is absolutely on point, it's almost scary how good this is.

Such an elegant creamy dish. The strong Gorgonzola, the sweetness of the pear, the nutty roasted pine cones along with a little nutmeg and topped off with a stalk celery crunch. Together with a fruity Riesling it's an all-time fav.

Caramelised Celery Steak, Café de Paris sauce.
Lazy Sunday afternoon fun with leftovers gone almost too far. The celery root spent 2 1/2 hours in the oven and was constantly braised until the caramelisation process started. Then it was cut, brushed with maple sirup and grilled.

Chicken Soup with Noodles, oven-fresh Ciabatta with Cream Cheese.
Sick daughter's choice. It's a lot of work but I'll never buy readymade chicken soup ever again. A whole organic chicken are is much more affordable than I thought. I am really getting the hang of making dough for bread.

Chiocciole, lemon, peas, peperoni.
I know, this doesn't look like much. But it's hot, there is the acidic freshness of the lemon and the peas bring in a nutty, earthy flavour. Plus loads of garlic. There is something completely magic about this few ingrediences working together.
