Landscapes are really hard to get just right because you gotta turn your 3d image in your brain into a 2d image. Depth and shadow is one of the hardest parts of that

Lichen update! Filled in the border a little bit. I'm trying not to be too much of a perfectionist about the fill stitches- I think a bit of imperfection suits the organicness of the piece.

八重桜の木で見つけました(桜が咲くのは当分先のよう)

これはもしかしたらロウソクゴケ？(すみません、地衣類ど素人です)

さすがに今日は黄砂と花粉の刺激が強すぎて桜を見上げるとくしゃみが💦

ということで、写したのは遊歩道のそこここに自生するユキヤナギと木々の所々に見える地衣類でした
