I don’t blame circumstance for being #jaded somewhere along the way something shifted, no rhyme or reason. I woke one day and the world was a dull grey. Laughter died on my lips not quite able to make my eyes and tiredness settled within my soul. Mirror, mirror who am I where did I get lost. Stock image of an old mirror hung in a decrepit room sun shining from outdoors yet the room remains gray. My story for today’s prompt. #vss365 #words #BlueSky #WritingCommunity #poet #Artist #Photography #Photo #EastCoastKin #story #Australia

A fascinating view within the cloisters of Lacock Abbey. Every item a beautiful thing in its own right. Something I can’t say about my own house, but perhaps it would be a helpful aspiration.

They laughed at us because Americans were stupid enough to "vote" him back into office. Now they look at us with disgust and distrust.

"Eggs on the Plate Without the Plate" (Oeufs sur le plat sans le plat), created in 1932 by the renowned Surrealist artist Salvador Dalí. The painting is a classic example of Dalí's Surrealist style, depicting a dreamlike landscape with strange, illogical juxtapositions. It features a plate of fried eggs sitting on a ledge, while another fried egg appears to be hanging by a string from an unseen source. The scene is set against a stark, yellow and blue twilight sky, a recurring motif in many of Dalí's works from this period. The artwork is currently housed in the collection of the Salvador Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida.
