The day after Chanukah, a man runs into the doctor’s office with a latke stuck in one ear, chocolate gelt in the other, and a jelly donut up his nose. He yells, “Doc, help! What’s wrong with me?” The doctor replies, “Well, now the holiday is over, you need to start eating right.”

Sometimes they are such a disappointment 🤣

Among my most painful parenting failures was my inability to connect my kids to Star Trek.

Teach us to treasure time:
To taste the sweetness of its swift seconds,
To seek truth amidst its trials,

After her arrest in 1942, she ministered in a ghetto until she was transported to Auschwitz in 1944. She was probably killed on arrival.
