I don't think the issue is development times. It's newcomer friendly titles that do something new and different. #FinalFantasy 16 was an attempt at that, but it didn't quite land or hit. The best game we've had is a remake to the most popular game from the 90s, so yeah...

Since it's been a while, figure I'd post the latest video that I worked on and released, which was on #ResidentEvilRequiem. I'm rather proud of the work and the speed of this one, even if it didn't pop-off like some of my other videos. If you're a fan of RE, give it a look:

I am seriously thinking about diving back into Strive and learning the game for reals again. I fell off after the excessive patching in the first year, so I think this new update might be my time to get back and reset from scratch! Looks great!
This looks so sick! Exciting to see SH one get some love after all this time!
Really loved #ProjectHailMary. As a fan of the book (I read it the week it came out), I'm just impressed at this adaptation and how well every aspect of it was executed. I was totally expecting some major changes, but the soul of the story is very much fully intact.
Realized that I fell off of posting here, and that I genuinely want to do more it so... Hello again and I'll hopefully be posting more here in the coming hours, days and weeks!
I do wonder if Nvidia being the one pushing this is forcing a lot of people in the industry to go along with this. Given the amount of partnerships and business entanglements, I'm assuming a lot of people had to go with this. That's my benefit of the doubt for them, anyway...
And most impressive of all, this issue is devoid of Spider-man or Peter Parker, and its still... so darn amazing. I just continue to be astounded by this series, and can't wait to do a follow up video on it after it hits issue 20 and/or resolves the current arc.
There is, honestly nothing like this currently coming out. This new version of Mysterio, is the most interesting version of the villain yet, not to mention that his backstory and reveal is done so well, pairing an obvious reveal with a rather insane one. The story is just... really pushing forward!
Caught up to #UltimateSpiderman 16 and I still can't get over how GREAT this comic book is. Every issue, just surprises, delights and impresses. Leave it to Hickman and Checchetto to remain this consistent, at this level. If you're even remotely interested in comics, you need to be reading this...
No I still haven't started the famed RPG yet... I'm on the final boss of #TheFirstBerserkerKhazan and well... Its a doozy. I'm likely going to spend all of tomorrow trying to beat him. Made it to Phase 2 of 3 tonight, so uhh... Progress!
I Recently did a video on why I think Hack and Slash Action Games are coming back! There's certainly quite a bit that's happened in video games over the last few years, that I think has primed the return of this much under-served genre. Please give it a look:

Yeah I couldn't press the Elaine button fast enough.
We get a game like #Metaphor maybe once every 8ish years, so its nice to see Falcom basically carrying the jRPG genre on their back for the last few years.
2025 may very well become the year both Falcom and #Trails hits it big and gets their long overdue recognition and break out success. I'm certainly hoping so, as after the disappointments with things like #FinalFantasy, its this series that's been keeping the jRPG genre alive all these years!
With the Release of #TrailsIntoDayBreak2 (of which I'm on the last chapter) early this year, and then the announcement of this, its been a great year for fans of the Falcom's Trails series. And that's to say nothing of the new fans that are going to jump in with the #SkyFC Remake!
Either we go in the direction that Wolverine/Logan is a tragic villain in this story, or we, you know, move forward and undo his brainwashing and have him start coming to terms with what he's been doing since. We don't need to keep seeing Logan doing terrible things, flashbacks can totally do that.
Spoilers ahead:
Okay so... Why is Logan still brainwashed and just doing the same thing over and over? We know that at some point, he's going to snap out of it, but why delay that? Why keep stretching out his brain washed state? I feel like we've established the premise at this point...
Alright so... I gotta say this, and I apologize for the negativity, but what exactly is going on with #UltimateWolverine. We're three issues in, we've seen a bunch of characters, but really, nothing has really progressed forward here. I'll respond with spoilers in the replies (and details)...
Also love the fact that this issue continues the trend of having nothing what so ever to do, story-wise, with what's on the main cover. I actually don't hate that the covers don't end up spoiling the story, are just great pieces of art.
After 14 issues, its issue 15 that I'd say was a bit more of a "filler" that didn't really drive too much of the story forward. Don't get me wrong, #UltimateSpiderman is still REALLY good, but yeah, it felt like were "checking in" more so than anything else this month. Awaiting the next issue now...
Really digging the visuals, atmosphere and feel of this trailer. That said... I'm still not sure what this is exactly. Is it a visual novel style narrative choice game or is it a third person horror game? Some gameplay teases would've been great... #SilentHillF
Trailer was really frigging cool and I already am ready to preorder the game. What was strange, was the lack of a trailer teases or marketing push for the game. We got one trailer and then bam, the release date with a huge 10 minute trailer? Definitely different from DS1, for sure. #DeathStranding2
So we're gonna do this every few years huh? #ResidentEvil doesn't need a movie...
Our latest video is a preview of none other than #EldenRingNightreign The fantastic spinoff game by FromSoftware that's coming out in just 2 months!
youtu.be/mRIPLOXJQ6s?...
I played the #EldenRingNightreign beta last month, and Honnestly, I'm pretty darn excited for it! I'm really vibe-ing with what From Software is cooking up here!
Here's a video with my details impressions, thoughts and a sort of preview: youtu.be/mRIPLOXJQ6s?...
Agreed on Richard and Felicia! Such a clever way to tackle that whole idea! And I agree on the mysterious individual. I also think things happened too fast and unceremoniously... Still, even with that, we're still going for an interesting place. I love how none of the covers spoil this stuff!
No spoilers, but I love the hints and setup that's been prepped for future issues, as well as things that happened in the now and here.
Peter is in quite the interesting place, and I really LOVE how Jonathan Hickman is really using the Family aspect of this Universe's Peter to great effect!
I'm just honestly loving how great #UltimateSpiderman continues to be. Every issue so far, that's counting 14, have been fantastic and intriguing.
Each issue is a great combination of tender, fun moments mixed with earth shattering, plot progressing events that just keep the momentum going!
