Happy New Year from all of us at CODAME ✨ As we step into 2026, we extend our deepest gratitude and curiosity to every artist, maker, mentor, collaborator, and explorer who shapes this global community. In the CODAME ART+TECH universe, a new year is more than a date — it is a creative threshold. A moment to pause, to begin again, and to imagine what’s possible. We enter this year guided by intention: choosing inquiry over answers, experimentation over certainty, and community over isolation. We believe the future is not something we wait for — it is something we actively practice, together. CODAME is artist-driven, practice-centered, and collectively imagined. In 2026, CODAME returns with its most expansive and participatory Festival yet. Centered around the theme The New Human, this edition explores how bodies, minds, cultures, technologies, and communities merge into new, hybrid possibilities. The New Human is not a fixed definition — it is a living inquiry. A way of asking how the future is shaped not by machines alone, but by the entangled traces of humanity itself: memory, language, biology, emotion, and code. The Program Creative Hackathon (March 6–7, 2026 · Milan) A focused, collaborative moment where artists and technologists prototype, experiment, and unlock imaginative directions around The New Human. Milano Art Week & Milano Design Week (April 13–26, 2026) Hackathon outcomes evolve into public experiences — exhibitions, performances, rituals, and conversations that blur disciplines and invite wonder. Global Creative Encounters Follow-up gatherings in San Francisco and Shanghai, extending the Festival across geographies and strengthening global creative exchange. We are all artists. The future isn’t coming — we are practicing it. Here’s to a joyful, curious, and generative 2026. Happy New Year 🥳
