It was #OTD in 1974 that the one true king Henry Aaron was crowned. The Hammer was the best player ever, and I will always live on that hill.

As a long-time reporter on space toilets, I am utterly unsurprised

2. It already got fixed

Astronauts are all extremely motivated plumbers.

I guess April Fools Day is over. Now, instead of talking about bonkers shit that’s completely made up, we can resume our normal programming of talking about bonkers shit that, despite all of our hopes, is completely true.

The only people who are allowed to make this distinction are the remaining guys who landed on the Moon. For the rest of us, they are indeed going to the Moon. #Artemis

If you watched the live NASA channel and all the NASA programming you’ve gotta give it up to some of the best science commentators in the business. NASA is absolutely masterful at this and it’s important to note this is a priority for them. Not many other govt orgs do this level of public education.

So there’s tons of people in Ohio hunting for the new meteorite using metal detectors and magnets… but it’s an Eucrite type which means it has no metal, only going to be able to find it with your eyes

I remember when people were complaining about having no choice about buying channels they didn’t want with the ~4 various levels of cable packages and I was like “bro do you understand how much more it will cost to buy the channels you personally like à la carte” and I WAS RIGHT and I TOLD YOU SO

NASA’s Hubble Unexpectedly Catches Comet Breaking Up - NASA Science NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope witnessed comet K1, whose full name is C/2025 K1 (ATLAS), in the act of breaking apart.

“Never before has Hubble caught a fragmenting comet this close to when it actually fell apart. Most of the time, it's a few weeks to a month later. And in this case, we were able to see it just days after,” a scientist said. (6/6) 🔭 🧵

Hal Weaver and Carey Lisse also congratulated Nath on her great talk. Lisse: "I wish I could do that when I was a high school student!" #LPSC2026

This is my ninth LPSC, and I have to say every single time I've heard a high school student give a talk, they have knocked it out of the park. Nath is no exception. Her presentation was dynamite! #LPSC2026
