And it was meticulously taken care of so it looks amazing.
Yesterday I learned that a Featherweight in the family needed it's next generation home.

Nice day for a drive.

Love love love this!
It looks like Carolina Moore has come out with 21 different crafty patterns to go with her boxed bag templates. Some would definitely need yardage unless you do it scrappy, and some could use up your scraps. Many of them look like nice gift ideas.

Going the Distance: 30 quilters from across Massachusetts stitch together a massive quilt celebrating the 130th running of the #BostonMarathon.
Rangeley Stars Wall hanging pattern started with two stars, one medium, one small in red, black, and gold/yellow fabrics.

Sashiko sneaker started at a class at the quilt show. Black Sketchers canvas shoe with contrasting fabric stitched on in Sashiko style with small stitched stars between the fabric.
OMG! I am coming up for air. I feel like I have been straight out since January and here it is April already!
Just a quick catch up! I took 3 classes at the Lebanon/Lancaster Quilt show. Rangeley Stars, Sashiko Sneekers, and free motion feathers, and loved all 3 classes.

Cool.
But . . .
Bluesky is international
On the off chance someone isn't "local" but still within reasonable traveling distance, it would be helpful if you shared a bit more about the location:
Country?
State/Providence/Territory?
Cover of Claudia Vance's book The Cape May Garden.
I just finished reading "The Cape May Garden" by Claudia Vance. Aside from minor proofreading issues, it's a nice feel good light read. It is book 1 in a series.

My brain says, I just need to do a few easy things.
Soon after I start, my body says girl wtf were you thinking & the brain doesn't understand.
I am so far behind on so many things. I finally got unpacked from my Feb QOV retreat, started to unpack from my FL trip & that's the tip of the iceburg.
🤣 Good to maintain a sense of humor.

Music and quilting are a very good combination. IMHO
I suggest more blender fabrics in the colors of various flowers, and nature inspired greens.
Piecing a quilt block is also a nice relaxing evening activity after the sun goes down and you have earned a sit down from gardening and other hard work. If you make 2 or three blocks each week, you'll have a full top to quilt by Fall.
Happy April 1st!

Oh no! I hope you find your safe place soon.
Buy a machine designed to go through a lot of layers. Many intro level sewing machines were built for garment sewing and basic crafts.
😢 ugh. Great. (not) 😢
I found your post because I have a class with her tomorrow and wondered if she was in Bluesky. That definitely influences my choices.
My husband's response "oh crap"
This is the only tutorial I remember where "how fusible fleece works" was described in detail.

Things are improving with my tarsal tunnel repair & plantar fasciitis surgery. Yesterday was my first day full weight bearing with a boot. The surgeon was pleased with my progress. I'm still elevating my foot as much as possible & still have some numbness that I hope resolves as healing progresses.
Bouldering like the AT entering Maine from New Hampshire? You look very fit! That takes dedication and hard work. You go girl!
Merle colored dog laying on her human's elevated leg while sitting in a zero gravity recliner.
My zero gravity recliner is perfect for keeping my foot elevated after surgery. Sarah is guarding my foot while it heals. My leg is under her head.
I enjoyed this and the second book. I hope to find book 3 soon.
Today I transitioned from a non-weight bearing splint to a boot and got my stitches out. I was looking forward to it being a good day. It was a lot harder than expected. I am not okay. Tomorrow's another day.
