C’est une effroyable perte… Quel choc… mes pensées vont vers ses proches et surtout ses enfants… 💔
Not from the top of my head but a quick Google Scholar search should show if there were studies on this topic.
The #gameuxsummit ‘25 videos are here and the call for speakers for the ‘26 summit in Kuala Lumpur Oct. 12-14 has started! Check it out below ☺️

It is quite weird!
Like Parisians typically say, la Tour Montparnasse offers the best views of Paris because it’s the only place in Paris where you don’t see it.
The videos from the Game UX Summit '25 are now live! And we’re starting the call for speakers for the 2026 summit in Kuala Lumpur Oct 12-14 ☺️

Please?
(This is all absolutely scary and devastating, stay safe everyone everywhere ❤️)
I hope for both of you that you didn’t actually have a standardized protocol but ok
🧐 What kind of hypotheses were you testing?
Make art and video games too, obviously! 😉

Make love and science, not war.
I am SO excited about this! 😍

NASA just dropped this image of Artemis II astronaut Christina Koch looking back at us. The first woman to ever see our planet in its entirety. I’m not crying you’re crying 🥹🔭🧪 📸: NASA
Wow, stunning photo!

We look great from afar, yes. Not so much up close…
Great reminder that humans are *also* capable of amazing things like this.
Hahaha!! Bon anniversaire et bonne lecture!! 🥰
🚨🚨🚨 TODAY!!!!!
It’s definitely gloomy out here. We need solidarity more than ever.
Yes! Please send an email to the one mentioned on the website (easier for me to follow through). Thanks!
It’s probably a good time to re-up this:

Picture of Alysa Liu skating in her Olympics figure costume and looking radiant and happy. The text says: We can achieve SUCCESS on OUR OWN terms.
We can achieve success on our own terms, make the games we care about while respecting players & supporting our colleagues. It shouldn’t require crushing people. Alysa Liu demonstrated beautifully at the Olympics that there’s another way possible.
We can do it too.

They have shareholders/investors, such as Tencent, Disney, Sony, Lego and they might want to keep their valuation high (especially if they want to sell some shares), but yes they have much more wiggle room than a public company (still didn’t prevent massive layoffs…)
So much for being “inevitable”…
Maybe the problem is not (only) that making great and sustainable games is hard, is that infinite revenue growth to satisfy shareholders is simply not possible and that greed is ultimately destroying everything? I dunno... just a thought... 💔
