Narrative Zugänge zur Geschichte analysieren Digitale Literatur zum Holocaust auf Storytelling- Plattformen
Räume partizipativen Gedenkens Auf Storytelling-Plattformen wie wattpad.com setzen sich hunderte junger Autorinnen und Autoren mit dem Holocaust und Nationalsozialismus auseinander. Sie veröffentlichen Texte in unterschiedlichen Sprachen, Genres und Bearbeitungs- stadien. Trotz dieser Vielfalt und breiten Zugänglichkeit wurden die Texte bislang weder literaturwissenschaftlich noch didaktisch systematisch erschlossen.
Das Projekt Ein Forschungsprojekt der Arbeitsstelle Holocaustliteratur an der Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießenuntersucht nun, wie die Texte diehistorischen Ereignisse aufarbeiten. Dazu nutzt es den sogenannten scalablereading-Ansatz: Eine flexible Analyse-methode, die sowohl die genaue Lektüreeinzelner Texte als auch ihre computer-gestützte Auswertung in größeremUmfang verbindet.
Die Ziele Verstehen, wie junge Schreibende historische Ereignisse des 20. Jahrhunderts verstehen und fiktionalisieren und welche Bedürfnisse sie damit bedienen Möglichkeiten digitaler Plattformen als Räume partizipativen Gedenkens und (literarisierter) Geschichtsschreibung aufzeigen Potenzial der Beiträge für die Bildungsarbeit erschließen, insbesondere mit Blick auf die Zeit nach der Ära der Zeitzeugenschaft
