I've imagined a tiny, glowy, pink-purple-blue roach species in Willora for some time and finally got around to drawing them and fleshing out the details. <3 #willora #willorian #worldbuilding #langurhali #insect #originalspecies

New Langurhali with bonzorri (Willorian plant) traits and spring fawn markings. Available for $$ offers.
Spring deericorn Langurhali! Possibly open for adoption.
Her horn is green bone with wood growing from the base and winding tightly around it.
She grows vines from the base of her tail and throughout her scalp that grow tiny wax-like Willorian flowers (called Vakso)

Bad at understanding bones and stuff, but trying to work out a basic shape for the Langurhali skull. Space enough for a human-sized brain
Prehistoric gumdrop crayon succulent trees
I love worldbuilding
Quickpainted a Langurhali house I saw at the park and took a quick bad video of the progress! Can't seem to get it to post though so here's a link to it. i.imgur.com/lDiWj9i.mp4
Made a new Willorian fauna entry today. The maldipi! #worldbuilding #willora #willorian #originalspecies #creature #scifi
I suppose it could also be compared to the shimmer in Annihilation, for a very different movie example lol
I like to imagine Willora has a slight magical shimmer to it, from the dirt to the air. 80's fantasy movie set-style. Organic matter from the Willow itself, perhaps... the bark flakes a natural sort of very fine glitter.

New Langurhali for the new year! Originally made her to be an adopt, but I'm feeling greedy. Her name is Vinera, she has power over vines. She can grow them rapidly from her horns and limbs. Her flute has a deep and haunting sound that encourages their growth and strength.
All Langurhali tend to have similar styles of adventuring attire for being away from home, whether going on long journeys or just going to gather food.
New Willorian flower and the fly that feeds on it almost exclusively! The plant is inspired by indian pipe/ghost plant, a childhood favorite I used to find in the woods behind my house all the time. #worldbuilding #willora #willorian #originalspecies #alienconcept #conceptart
...aware of it til they think about how all their material possessions seem to be shrinking.
*crawls in with migraine and slightly stoned from taking too many ibuprofen*
Sometimes I think it would be cool if likea
All Willorian species grew like plants, getting bigger and bigger over centuries til they're giants, the plantlife around growing with them so they're not even... 1/2
Most Langurhali are too young to pull off these styles as dramatically, but simpler variations can be done! I used Elder ears to give a better example of the variety, and mostly Elders need to style their ears to keep them out of the way XD Some of these are so ridiculous I love them even more.

Old (2011) vs new (ish; 2023) guide for Langurhali ear structure :3
New info at the link, still a work in progress concept for birth/death of Langurhali. Opinions greatly appreciated

A Langurhali's kitchen is truly the heart of the home. It doubles as the main living space. It's often called the centrovi, or "center of life". The table is sacred, made from iridescent Willow root wood that spreads as it grows. Everything about the room invites you to spend time and relax.
Many Langurhali live in tree knees, protrusions that grow from the roots of the Willow. The walls and ground inside grow soft, thick, insulating moss. Shelf fungus create levels, plants grow into windows and insects may come in and eat any unwanted fungi. Nature is welcome in most Langurhali abodes.
Art from 2005 that I made as a gift to the top ten winners of a contest I held, where 65 people created a Langurhali. People taking such interest in my world and contributing to the Pride blew me away, it encouraged and inspired me so much to expand it!
