I have a friend with "trigger finger" and his recent treatments seem to be working so he's playing more. My essential tremor gets in the way sometimes. So it seems many of us can have good days/bad days but we keep on keeping on.
That's great news!
Not excited by moontrips, but I hope there will be another few folks who will not forget the sight of a tiny, fragile blue marble lost and alone in the black. And that they will be impelled to devote the rest of their lives to its protection and our collective well-being.

Ok... two years late, but now you have to post something! :-)
(BlueSky is just a polite X, btw)
Spring!
In '68 in a high school geography class on the Middle East we had a rhythmic chant: "Iraq - Iran - Afghanistan"... Ok, so we got the order wrong. 😖

Sometimes on a Friday Music:
Mat Hughes' song Yard Sale features what I feel (really *feel*) is a great vocal accompaniement by Izra Fitch.
Mat once did a piano stem for me and this gets me wondering about looking into a vocal accompaniement for something else I have. 🤔

Sometimes on a Friday Music: Just when I feel I'm overcoming barriers with my guitar playing I come across something like this...

Loki the horse with tongue hanging out.
Best Wishes for a Happy and Prosperous New Year! ... the Year of the Fire Horse.
Meet Loki...
Hoping for some ski-able snow next week for cross-country!

A local fan gave me this thermal mug for Christmas. "It's your song", he said.
Dartmouth Ferry, of course... complete with Halifax's "Old Town Clock", but I'll have to add a new verse for the Dartmouth power station. :-)
Sometimes on a Friday music:
I've loved Francis Cabrel's "l'Encre de tes Yeux" for a long time so I was happy to find this concert clip on YouTube. The lyrics as translated by Google are a bit strange, but I'll add an alternative in a comment below.

2025 has left the station. You were all busy last night so I waited untill this morning to wish you a Happy New Year!

Some 17 years down the road with her, my Leslie has had a busy week in the kitchen preparing for holiday family meals. As her inept "sous chef" I'm continually amazed. ♥️

Just in case you're curious... this is Williams Lake, Halifax NS. We don't actually have snow at the moment, but we did last week (LoL). Even without the snow the lake has frozen over. We're hoping it stays that way and snows so that we can go cross-country skiing sometime soon.
In the late '60s I rode the Ocean westward its full length. As luck would have it I recently shared the experience online. How long was the trip? You can do the math 🙂: youtu.be/XVrLP9fLafM?...
Fantastic! You might be interested in seeing some of Holly Carr's work with large silk panels in Nova Scotia.
Once knew a young woman with naturally white hair... found it very attractive. Nice work.
So tell me about the Algorithm (?) that decided my listeners on YouTube Music need to listen to "related" songs on this list! 😆
Cutest little guitar store in Barcelona! All classical, I think, with all the basic accessories. Thanks for the musical break.
A great interpretation of Sam Cook's Cupid by an Amy Winehouse influenced singer at Big Bang Bar which, despite the name, was hosting a fine acoustic open mic.
So, how was YOUR Halloween?
Go for it!
... which is why I started writing my own songs... with my own fingerstyle. Necessity is the mother of invention.
... about the time I learned Sweet Baby James, Carolina on my Mind, and Something in the way she Moves... but I never did get the hang of the guitar accompaniment. 😕
Chorus:
God damn them all!
I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold
We'd fire no guns-shed no tears
Now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier
