Some crazy stuff is cooking up! My pal Alexander talked me into building a small #trenchcrusade warband - using old #Warzone miniatures (still available thru Prince August) instead of new 3D printed ones… Here’s my first chap for the Bauhaus… I mean New Antioch gang 😄 The cool logo is by Alexander.

So what’s this? I’m building a small warband for #trenchcrusade together with my pals Mikko and Alexander. We’re using only old Warzone miniatures! They are quite affordable and easy to purchase from Prince August, Ireland. I’m going to use mostly the Blanchitsu paint sets when painting these.

Also, when you look at your work and see the flaws, you also understand that there’s still much space to make improvement and level up as a painter. This, I think, is one of the main focus points every painter should give a thought and cherish.

This new orientation gave me much more positive energy, which lead to new levels of hobby enjoyment… I started seeing improvement in my technique and developed a personal style, which I started polishing by writing tutorials not only for my followers but also for myself.

It’s way too easy to just drop the brush and give up. I used to get depressed when I compared my paint job with the Eavy Metal and Cmon minis. When I realised that this is a life long journey rather than just a spurt, I understood that I had to stop comparing my work with the others…
