Loads of wild garlic as far as the eye can see.
The Garlic Invasion Of Earth (1964)
I NEED HELP!
Please take this quick, meaningless 19 question survey so I can get data for my students to learn stats!
I did a similar version a few months ago but missed an important question type. Even if you did the old one, please do it again!
Please circulate widely!
SUCH a fun time:)
I know you have to go out there and push the product, but man, Kevin Feige saying with his whole entire baseball cap 'Well NEXT year's movie is going to be the one you really want to go see!' as basically Marvel's entire art department gets laid off is an astoundingly shitty look.
It's Tim Curry's birthday, folks, he's fine.
This is what I immediately think of whenever I hear someone say the word "phenomenon"
Very good piece.
A very, very late recommendation, but if you’re in/near Bristol then today is the last day of the Cosmos exhibition at RWA.

Ex Machina. The major of New York is a superhero, and he has Stuff to do.
"Pancreatic cancer mRNA vaccine shows lasting results in an early trial: Scientists caution that more research is needed, but nearly all of the patients who responded to the personalized vaccine are still alive six years later."
Thanks for joining us for the gorgeous Herdling, folks! Looks like the ps5 overheated so we’re calling it early
I made a really short video about one of my favourite movies, why it's worth your time, and why I think this Boris Karloff thriller kicked off the 70s New Hollywood era.

The Long Neolithic is a fever. It infects all of us stone botherers – whether we are archaeologists or lithic pilgrims. None are free of its symptoms. The call to visit, that palpable feeling ongoing ceremony when you walk into a stone circle. – Dr. K. Brophy #StandingStoneSunday
Please help Eslam's family survive Israel's genocide, which has left them starving, sick, & homeless under renewed siege & bombardment. Eslam has lost her husband to the genocide, and her son is sick & needs urgent treatment:
I always felt Scully and Skinner made a ton of sense for very similar reasons
both the thing Senor Cardgage would be eating and what he would call it
Hey everyone, quick PSA:
We can enjoy the delicious schadenfreude of Caitlyn Jenner being reminded that she's a trans person when what's been done to every other trans person suddenly gets applied to her in the smallest way
AND
Not turn into gross assholes that deadname or misgender her ✌️
A pile of sleeved test-print cards for Asher's Ridge
So the test print and check-over went pretty well I think!
moby-dick, his eyes enormous: from hell's heart you STAB at moby? for hate's sake you spit your last BREATH at moby? oh! oh! the great shroud of the sea for ahab! the great shroud of the sea rolling on as it rolled five thousand years ago!!!!
Just FYI, there is a tiny indie bookshop in Afflecks Palace in MCR that ONLY sells fantasy (and a tiny bit of horror). Not even SF. Bugbear Books - check them out if you're in the area. I was very well behaved because I was already broke but I got a copy of The Fox Wife which looks great.
Pls share?
As so many of us have said so often for a year now, any predatory man already ignoring laws forbidding assault isn't going to obey a 'bathroom ban'. Making life harder for trans people and many others with restrictions which will be impossible to enforce will do nothing to make any women safer.

Empire Records! The great lost Quantum Leap episode! The night manager at a record store discovers plans to franchise them out (It's a period piece at this point), gambles everything in the safe to save the store, loses, and then finds out that was NOT THE PLAN. Angst and '90s indie rock ensue.
It's the Empire Records of chef movies. It's a mess. There are entire characters completely excised and what seems to be an Alicia Vikander centric plot that's reduced to two scenes and a cup of coffee. But like Empire Records it's fragmentary and brilliant. Oh let's throw that on the list too!
Burnt. The best work Bradley Cooper's done by some distance. Sold as a 'LOOK AT THIS ASSHOLE ROCKSTAR CHEF!' movie. Actually a 'Look at this ASSHOLE rockstar chef and what he does when he finally realises he's an asshole.'

Every now and then I think of that woman a friend knew from a ferret owner’s group who said that her ferret loved it when she blew raspberries on his bellybutton, only to discover that wasn’t a bellybutton and that he *really* enjoyed it
Action Comics cover art by Patridge. Superboy & Krypto stand on a porch, back to the viewer. They are bathed in golden orange sunlight as they look out across the Kansas coutryside.
Happy Superman Day to the big guy 💫
On top of reasons of role deconstruction and bodily autonomy, this is one reason why it's so important to many people in power to eradicate trans folk.
If you're secure with yourself, feeling good BEING yourself, they can't tell you you're broken and then sell you a "fix"
