Trump has debased the United States and plumbed the depths of cruelty and inhumanity.

The worse scandal, however, is how the political system and civic society permitted such a person to get even close to the White House.

I am frankly more concerned about the apathy of the American public and even more importantly the lack of leadership in the Democratic Party.

This is not a dress rehearsal. Every single American must speak out against this Facist administration.

From my POV, this is just another transfer of wealth from people to corporations. Sure, the corporations may get their money back, but I don't see it getting refunded to the consumers who actually paid it. And I am not counting on prices dropping much if the tariffs are actually removed.

I have no delusions about Obama's contribution to the abysmal state of our immigration policy. However, in fighting tyranny and fascism I will take allies from any quarter. After fascism is wiped out we can return to normal political discourse.
