Researchers from across RCSI came together for RCSI Research Day 2026.

The event highlighted excellence in areas including invention disclosures, PPI and commercialisation, and Professor Margaret Pericak-Vance delivered the John J. Ryan Lecture.

Fantastic achievement to see this important study completed in challenging environments - covid 19, military coup, flooding. In awe of the research and clinical teams for completing this study 👏

#UKROX patients recruited within ~5hrs of ventilation. Would love to see the breakdown of who randomised patients and tools etc used. Fantastic effort in recruitment of patients. Study completed with 3 years and started tail end of COVID19

After #TARGETPROTEIN and #TTM2 biomarker results I think it's safe we need to consider the addition of biomarker sub studies into RCTs #CCR25
