sometimes I look at dishonored screenshots and go fuuuuck it's so good. fuck. I'll never forgive the gamers for not buying billions of copies of all the dishonored games

Remember, when someone on tv does something you don’t like, it’s important to find them online and tell them off. It’s not rude, because you watch their show and that means you’re basically their client and boss.

I've got one of those! Great lens, but the direction of the zoom ring takes some getting used to.

For what it's worth, I've been enjoying your posting and reposting! Game art, wood working, cute garden animals: all good! 🫡

HARD DISK WORRIES My only fear about PlayStation 2 is concerning the forthcoming Hard Disk Drive. How can gamers be sure that this won't tempt some developers to send out 'unfinished' games as they did with the PC? I hope that you can somehow convince me that this won't be the case. Vertically oriented cover in a sort of sepia tone. Four same-sized rectangular metal grilles with different patterns are arranged in a diagonal row running vertically. They are lit from above, casting dramatic shadows. In a spotlight upper right, 3D-looking block lettering in white, also casting shadows: AIR CONDITIONING GRILLES OF DISTINCTION From the catalog: “The technical distinction between a grille and a register is that a grille has no provision for controlling the volume of air, whereas a register has a valve for this purpose. For the sake of simplicity, the term ’grille’ will be used throughout this brochure.”

Screenshot of magic box with a clock on it, from the game Boxes: Lost Fragments
I just wrapped up Boxes: Lost Fragments, which I picked up as a free game on Epic a little while back. It was good! Fun little steampunk escape-room-esque casual puzzler. Lots of clicking and fiddling around. Reminded me a bit of Monument Valley, but with the PBR look.

Really enjoyed Act One. Super glad to hear Act Two is on the way!
Beverly (1969-2009): An intensely bitter before-dinner drink from Coca-Cola, it was made with grapefruit rind. Primarily sold in Italy, it developed a cult following in the U.S. Can still be found on tap at the Coca-Cola museums and EPCOT in Disney World.

Was reminded today about the time a few years ago when I was throwing away some old Zip disks from the closet when one of my interns asked why I had 3D-printed the save icon.
Just absolutely the most hysterical laughter ever from me over that, but it was a fun day of explaining old tech to them!

Hello, former Studebaker salesroom with the glorious terra cotta! I will not complain about the masonry infill because we still get to look at this lovely terra cotta relic.

#MolluscMonday Dating mostly from the 16th and 17th centuries, nautilus shell cups consist of metal-mounted shells sometimes capped by a small figure of Poseidon. This example on display at the British Museum shows remarkably intricate carving of the shell and septa.

One of the best games I've played in a long time. An excellent Diablo-like that feels good to play AND has a incredibly deep (and historically accurate?) story
