Totally get it. I was experiencing this same question just last week. π
It's why my answer is so specific.
I am doing it with my own weekly reviews. And since all the data is in backlinks to the week, I get a very concise summary and analysis for the week.

Instead an MCP server, use obsidian's CLI to create a skill for an agent. This should help running quickly without extra context.
Then set up with gemma 4 running through docker model runner. That would let you run locally. Full isolation security.

Oh god, I'm a web dev now. π€£
One of the main reasons I want to use #ubuntu 26.04 is for the #framework desktop. π
All that #amd #rocm package handling. π
I didn't need more reasons for the release. π
I left #logseq for #obsidian.
The tool continues to work. Yet, I know focus is on database version. Meaning current stable is a bit lacking. π«
What's interesting is how difficult finding an outliner as good as logseq. There's really none.
Venturing out isn't THAT bad... Let's see in 3 months. π
Absolutely incredible work by #DeltaChat for the latest release.
As more authoritarian society becomes, the need these tools. Privacy and true decentralization are a must, not an optionality. π«
I've been slowly moving to #zswap. Though now, quite quickly thanks to this article. π Especially when using #NVMe, the advantage is quite apparent. π
Ok. This the moment I stop using #coredns and maybe #powerdns, for #erldns. π
The implement of #CodDel without me doing a single thing... Simply start the server... I don't think I need another dns authoritative server. π
Excellent work from #dnsimple!
Understated how powerful a procfile processor with log handler can be. It's what made #Heroku shine.
May seem simple, but immensely powerful once you learn how to tune to your workflow. π
In other words, I'm going to use #Overtail now. π
Like I needed any more reason to dislike #GitHub. π«
I totally get #Mozilla point. But I also remember when we had too many web engines and none followed a standard. π«
We do need competition. But competition that continues to work together on web standards.
#TypeScript 6 feels like #php 6.
Not in the forever development. It's out now! But more in being a placeholder, until 7 is released. And 7 is definitely the excitement. #golang base with actual logic that makes sense. π
Oh no, #astral got acquired by #openai. Something had to give. I think the tools astral made are truly great changing for #python. But now with this acquisition... Color me surprised if #OpenAI does more of the plans astral had. π«
I haven't been tracking, but #JavaScript #Temporal date time library is GA. π
It's a must have!
I can remember many failures in js world attributed to date usage. So much pain... Made me hate js almost instantly when I learned of date. π
Now safari is left to fix. π«
All these quality of life improvements in #ghostty. π Congrats to the whole team for 1.3.
The native notification on command finish! I've had a #fishshell plugin for I don't know how many years for this... I'm going to need to test this magic. π
Another brilliant release of #DuckDB! Pager, PEG for search and insights by default. I need no other analytical tool now. π
#Devenv 2 is out and it is impressive! π Great work team. Going to ride through in some personal projects to test out.
I been moving to flake parts all my things, but still. Would like these dev shell benefits. π
These laws on age verification are not for age verification. They are a simple play on locking identity. It may seem small, but it's slowly focused on removing choice for control.
Control on what you run, how you run, when, and why. π«
Oh my goodness, yes! π€©
If you written any #WebAssembly, you know full well the target for the web is actually HARDER than not. Being able to have first class support for #wasm on browser goes a glorious way of getting the performance it rightly has. π
On no. There's even more ways I'll be putting the #Erlang #beam into what I do. π Basically #Python now has a new ASGI called #hornbeam.
I don't think I can ignore this amazingness. π
So excited for the new language server of #elixirlang, #ExpertLS. Going to need to set up immediately. π€© It already covers lexical usage. My current LSP. π«‘
Forget #kiro is locked down as hard as fort knox.
Read through their specs documentation. It's an absolutely stellar pattern to follow. Write your requirements and track design of your requirements.
immensely valuable advice on how to build software in general. π
Been messing about in using #gherkin with #golang. Found a generator for tests called #gherkingen.
Not too complex. π Helps create tests based on the feature. With ai #agents everywhere, makes hallucinations at least grounded. π«
#charm #bubbletea v2 is official. I'm so on this. π I found writing #tui in #golang honestly fun thanks to bubbly tea.
Interesting to see combinator conditions on #typescript for CLI.
This is something that's hard to do in any CLI library. Easier with typed languages, but still can be complex. Very cool to see with #optique and their approach leveraging the type system. π
Fascinating article on ai #agents ecosystem.
On the article, I do think local agents can work, but you have to set very small limits.
Further, I've learned to think how to compartmentalize context with agents. Which it so happens, helps humans as well. π
Nice, green tea gc is default more in #golang. Played with it and was already an improvement. Now waiting for json2 and runtime/secrets to revamp all the code I can find. π
So I started to look over again for self hosting #oidc #authn. #pocketid, #voidauth, and #hanko are the simplest. All #passkey focused.
Yet still, Pocket ID is by far the easiest to run. Strictly Unix like focused on doing one thing. But doing one thing really well. π
Reasoning for #agents making #elixirlang a super power. π
Sure there's more #JavaScript and #Python code out. But the level of quality and side effects... They even hard for humans to conceptualize. π
This is where elixir can really shine. Functionally concise. π
