I stopped using Zellij and switched to base Ghostty tabs, panes and splits.
So far so good, but I can't count how many times my muscle memory automatically worked and used old Zellij keybindings instead of new ones 😅

Had major issues with #ClaudeCode for weeks, with mouse positions not registering correctly, semi-auto scrolling, weird selecting etc.
Turns out it was #Ghostty. No issues in either Terminal or #iTerm2.
Back to iTerm2, then.

I didn't realize I needed notifications from the terminal emulator. This was introduced as a new feature in Ghostty in version 1.3, I've only been using it for a day, and it has been super useful, especially for running long build commands. #ghostty

Ghostty key tables keybinding workflows are the best. Look at this!
⌘+d, j = open new split to the bottom
⌘+d, l = open new split to the right
⌘+r, k = resize to the top
⌘+r, h = resize to the left
This should be very familiar to tmux or vim users. Love it ❣️

Ghostty 1.3 is full of features I have been waiting for, like scrollback search and split dragging. It also contains things I never thought about but are really cool, like chained key mappings. Really good release worth giving the changelog a quick read.

They add more bloat with every release, i dislike that very much. The only thing for me not moving to #ghostty is missing tabs in hotkey windows (just a personal preferences im used to)

I've been experience some issues in #iTerm2 the last couple of releases (often requiring a `reset` in bash), so I finally decided to try #Ghostty. Pretty slick, and doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles I never needed anyway, not to mention I can store my config in git.

Finally made the jump to ghostty. Really a great sweet spot if you're in the Gnome/GTK ecosystem and want a fast and configurable terminal.
I think I was finally able to replace tmux. I'm using their native split/tab features with my old tmux shortcuts. Let's see how it goes.

Welchen Terminal-Emulator nutzt Mensch auf #MacOS heuer so? Nach einer Weile mit Warp (zu viel des Guten) und iTerm (wirkt angestaubt, auch wenn es das nicht ist) bin ich bei #Ghostty gelandet - der Werbespruch wäre vermutlich "weil es einfach einfach ist".

Well great stuff, #ghostty snapshot builds changed the ANSI 256-color palette generation, breaking color rendering for all apps relying on indexed colors, including #stegodon. @mitchellh i thought my monitor broke.. Hotfix incoming!
