Hi all. After thinking carefully, I’ve decided to pause development on Flightless Fables indefinitely. Following the Kickstarter, I found myself experiencing the worst burnout I’ve felt since first pursuing game dev in 2020. Returning to dev was looking bleak until I started learning Godot, and it really feels like my passions align with 3D game development. As I continue learning 3D, I have a 2D prototype in the works that I have yet to share, but it’s something I’m excited about. From now on I will probably avoid frequent posting until I have playable demos of my projects ready. Flightless Fables suffered from this, as even in its current state, it’s still very far from being playable. I want to bring the world of Flightless Fables to life in some capacity - whether that’s 3D, 2D, or something that resembles the current game as you know it. FF actually started out as a top-down Zelda style project. I also think it’s a world that could shine in 3D some day. I apologize about this unfortunate update, but I hope you’ll be there when the bird game finally sees the light of day. -Joe

Spent to day writing dialogue and properly playtesting the new levels and boss stuff. The warground absolutely needs to be harder while I may need to tone down the boss a smidge

Honestly so real, if you’re looking for advice, just be wary of the knees.
If one puts a lot of force into running, then it’s really easy to put hella pressure on the knee cartilage, and eventually tear it down.
Nevertheless, keep on trucking along!!! You got this!!!!

I'll make sure I do, and get some proper rest after moving everything. But even in day to day life we all should just take a moment, stare into the distance and let our minds rest.
it is done (set 100 as the test value, will keep it @ somewhere from 25-50 for now)
Honestly the moving of the clouds helps it quite well, so the sprite approach works out!
Moving can be hella tiring gang! Make sure to get some nice breaks here and there when you’re moving and settling in!
