I had this for gamecube and remember finding it in a bargain bin at walmart back in the day. Was sceptical at first due to it being a movie tie in but ended up loving it! It's one of the better movie tie in games at the time imo. Didn't even realize it was helmed by the guy who created Rayman! ❤️

Now that I'm the first person to beat Insanity Melee Only without infinite knife/durability, let's see if I can complete a speedrun of it. (this is the last challenge, I swear)

The Legend Of Zelda was a hard one but after all this time I was finally able to defeat Ganon and save Zelda. It holds up today and despite having the old nes hard difficulty curve and losing to Ganon originally, I loved it. 5/5 Won't touch 2nd quest though. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Fluid (PS1) was a surprise. Pal and Japan exclusive interactive sound lab where you can create music while playing as a dolphin. You unlock sound sets as you play the levels and despite being short, it has so much to offer. 5/5 due to the ost and weirdness. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Lol True! Started Zelda 1 yesterday and it was "go 3 screens, die, make progress, die, repeat" but thankfully I found a guide online and after dungeon 5, game is going a lot more smooth. Forgot how Nintendo would make games hard to prevent people beating it in 1 rental. 🤣
Forgot how unforgiving The Legend Of Zelda (NES) was. That is all. 😅
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 was just as good as I remembered it. This and THPS 2 were the 2 I played to death in my teens and the ost, reverts and tighter controls made this still hold up today. The levels are iconic and Airport still is one of the best imo. 5/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Rest up and hope you feel better soon!
THPS 2 is beaten! Took way to long on bullring and returned to claim gold. It improved a lot on what the first game did as well as adding manuals was a nice addition. Bullring gold medal though can suck a lemon due to a specific route to gurantee gold. 4/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

Pretending I'm a superman! Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 on ps1 despite starting & paving the way for the series I was more of a THPS2 teen. Also forgot how short the game actually was. It sadly did not hold up well but still fun to mess around in. 3/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Updated a lot of software that I had been procrastinating on, including OBS lol Hopefully I'll never experience another Requiem crash again, only crash outs.

It is extremely fun! Hard mode is no joke though. Can't get past level 1 on it 😆
Lemmings Paintball was a nostalgic trip. Lemmings with paintball guns playing capture the flag while solving puzzle and it is worth playing today if you like old school capture the flag style games with a twist. 4.5/5 due to the initial setup. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX was fun but it did not age well. Loaded a old save I had and decided to finish it after a couple years. The game itself had a huge variety of tricks and some fun challenges but the game controls take a bit to get used to. 3.5/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Played The Easter Bunny's Big Day on ps1 for easter and followed it up with Strikers 1945 to get some shmup action going. 😄
Strikers 1945 on ps1 gives you a run for your money. Gives you a state of mind that you are in for a easy time and quickly shuts that down with bullet hell mechanics. Never got past level 6 in my teenage years but now I can say I beat it. 5/5 awesome shmup. @polykillpodcast.bsky.social #justbeatit
Happy Easter!

New video! I talk about the Silent Hill 2 remake, Dead in Antares, The Invincible, Monkey Island 2 and Full Throttle youtu.be/h3K3lg-BP6o
Easter Bunnys Big Day in honor of Easter was a no brainer. It's short where you gotta collect eggs by doing jugsaw puzzles and egg catching mini games to deliver them to the kids at school. The music gets repetitive though but it is fun to speedrun. 3.5/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Thanks! It was a fun set to go through. Now I can get back on the polykill grind and maybe knock a couple wii retroachievements out while I am at it. 😅
LeafGreen retroachievements finally mastered! Got lucky with the evolves into hitmontop and hitmonlee. Overall it is a pretty relaxing set with nothing overly insane to do other than grind the level 55 evolves and the fossil evolves but vs seeker on one island helped a lot. 5/5 set.
LeafGreen was just as fun as I remembered. Took a few tries to beat the Elite 4 but at the end of the day I became champion of Kanto once again. It imo is the best way to play gen 1 again with all the improvements and excited for post game. Blastoise ftw! 5/5 @polykillpodcast.bsky.social #justbeatit
Gotta evolve them all!

Hope you can figure out the issues Matt!
New Polykill!
Steve is smitten with the Ys series, Trav gives his early thoughts on Resident Evil 9. Top 5 games that involve time travel.

And also mastered on retroachievements!
Pokemon Blue even though I have nostalgia for it, has not aged well after all the games after has been released along with tons of qol updates through the series. Still good but slow for todays standards. Did beat it with only exclusive to Blue too. 3.5/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
