Reporters should really try to get Poilievre on the record about this stuff.

Without the space, that sets trans women apart from women: it creates two classes, "women" and "transwomen". With the space, "trans" becomes just another adjective describing a subset of women, like if you're talking about "tall women" or "blonde women".

Oh, what's that? You only support it for women who insufficiently match your image of what a woman should look and behave like? Almost like you are trying to codify patriarchal beauty and gender performance standards for defining womanhood (that are highly racist, it's worth noting)?

Trans women are women and genetics don't determine gender (and sex is not as simple to determine as people assume it is), but even though I completely reject the premise transphobes use, I am deeply curious how many of them have ever undergone this kind of invasive testing to "prove" they're women.
