April is Autism Acceptance Month!
Our school community is celebrating by promoting inderstanding, kindness, and inclusion for all learners. On April 2nd, we will recognize World Autism Awareness Day and participate in an Autism Acceptance Spirit Week leading up to April break.

MANY AUTISTIC PEOPLE HAVE STRONG INTERESTS IN THINGS THEY LOVE. DRESS TO SHOW SOMETHING YOU ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT (A HOBBY, SPORT, ANIMAL, BOOK, ETC.).

SOME PEOPLE ARE SENSITIVE TO LIGHT, SOUND, OR TEXTURE. WEAR COMFY CLOTHES OR PJS, HELP MAKE THE CLASSROOM CALM AND COZY BY USING NATURAL LIGHTING OR LAMPS.
