As a man of exactly 40, I like to be asked about my daily fiber intake.
Oh looky, 3 of mine. 🥰🏔️👑🐉 If you like intelligent but still animalistic dragons, a frontier milieu, a queer love story, and a dash of Revenge Plot, you might like my novella trilogy The Crowns of Ishia.
Exactly the Gaza playbook: forcing mass displacement, then rendering entire towns and cities uninhabitable.
the fuzziness overload 😭

Looking up at a canopy of narra trees, their young leaves lit by warm, pink, golden morning sun.
the dogs have lately decided that they need to be up and about at 5:30 every morning. and mostly I want to cook and eat them about it, but also the first sun on the high treetops is divine.

it takes a team working for years to publish a book and make it the polished product that ends up in readers' hands. fic authors don't have that luxury! when you read a fic that's GENIUS, that's life-changing work, then imo that's an achievement that should be measured on a wholly different scale.
agree with you on all counts. PLUS if it's a traditionally published book, and often even with self-pub, those books went through several rounds of editing by professionals, including copy editors, in order to make them "good". fic authors MIGHT have a beta, but generally are solo creators.
