In m einem Umkreis nutzen viele Strava und Komoot - bei letzterem bin ich etwas vorsichtig geworden was für Strecken Auswahl be trifft, bin mit dem Gravel durchaus schon wo gelandet, wo man nicht sein will und darf (ZB Steinbrüche).
when a researcher doctors data for personal gain, it is obv very bad. when people design new studies based on those findings, that's wasteful. but when someone *uploads* questionable data to "go-to" repos for big data in benchmarking, hackathons, & more, now we have an exponentially worse problem.

Exciting appointment today: I’m visiting an elementary school to teach about stress, relaxation and the brain 🧠
Mir geht es da ähnlich (Nachdenken), und ich bin aus Selbstschutz aus dem letzten Ehrenamt etwas zurückgetreten. Tatsächlich fand ich es spannend, dass ich "Ehrenamt" gerade sehr im privaten Bereich gedacht habe und die Gremienarbeit, Editorenarbeit etc im akademischen Kontext nicht mitgedacht habe.

Ich war während des Studiums bei der Nummer gegen Kummer und später Jugendleiterin in der Alpenvereinsjugend. Letzteres gerade sehr herunter gefahren mangels Zeit. Ich finde im Ehrenamt oft sehr viel Spaß, neue Kontakte, Dankbarkeit und sinnvolle Beschäftigung. Danke für die Beiträge diese Woche!

You are absolutely right: subjective response and parasympathetic response are not altered by glucose, but sympathetic response is. After glucose load, SNS remains active when it withdraws its activity in the water condition. PNS and SNS are this active at the same time, with no effect on mood.
