Every so often I train the rampant Clematis montana across a wire from the fence to the shed. It looks nice but getting into the shed can get a bit tricky sometimes! #GardensHour 🌱

👋 Evening all. The milkman delivered two bags of compost this morning so I'll be potting on seedlings soon. The long tailed tits have been bringing joy in the garden lately, looking for spiders on the window frames #GardensHour 🌱

Very much a spring themed #SixOnSaturday, but with a hint of the summer approaching. We have Tulips, Cherry Blossom, Bluebells and the first Rose flower.

The bluebells, tulips and grannies bonnets glistened in the sunshine and the 'magic seeds' from the horse chestnut have sprouted into baby conker trees.

By eight the sun was on the bench, and so was the cat.

Four more bags of second early potatoes have been planted - only two more to go. As I write this on Friday it's a lot cooler but we're yet to have any significant rain which means I'll have to water everything newly planted by hand, and that means a lot of work.

Evening all. April seems to be hedgehog courting season. Just been watching 3 hedgehogs in the garden. It turns out our resident hedgehog is a female so we may have hoglets next month possibly - if she choses a suitor. It's also Omphalode time! #GardensHour 🌱
