My 1st whinchat 😍 and yellow wags x2 of the year on this mornings #patchbirding at Oglet , ( thanks Steve t for shout ) still 20+ wheatears

Great afternoon #patchbirding over the high tide
2 whimbrel,c300 dunlin&ringed plover,c100 black-tailed godwits,c40 sanderling,peregrine flushed them all but they settled back down to roost ,great white egret ,1 wheatear ,1 grey plover, 5 house martins,4 swallow,3 porpoise

Great white egret on shore, a couple of little ,c50 Dunlin , c100 black-tailed godwits
Common lizard out and lots of orange tip butterflies.

Saw the great -tailed grackle a few times today, poor thing getting chased a lot by crows and magpies last 2 days
