That new trailer for "Wuthering Heights" feels like it's the romantasy-ification of film. I know nothing about the book, but the the trailer was gross. Emerald Fennel should just go into p*rn if that's what she enjoys ☆
Right now my favourite part of planning my next project is inventing useful garments for magic users to wear. Ones that will hold their weapons and arcane items. Ones that, should a fight break out, could become damaged or destroyed, and the user will be unable to replace the garment easily ☆
Increasingly convinced the main damage cell phones have done to creativity isn't decreased attention spans or what not but the elimination of productive boredom. Inspiration comes from the mind filling the void inside. Hard to make art when you're constantly silencing the silence with "content."
Does anyone else find it crazy that you can walk into a bookshop and be charged £9.99 for a paperback novel that took the author a year to complete, but £17.99 for a completely blank notebook?

My new project being Avatar: The Last Airbender meets Lord of the Rings is super exciting ☆
Creating a magic system isn't nearly as fun as the invention of interesting limitations and cons for using said system ☆
There's definitely something to be said for completing WIPs, especially when those WIPs are long projects, and not starting a new one until the last is done.
But I am starting from scratch on (hopefully) my debut novel, instead of resurrecting the festering corpse of my last project ☆
