Everything is so nice! I don't have too many cards because they're hard to get, so the TCG items I buy the most are playmats because they're super versatile.

Pokemon Center had to go and release new playmats that I need. Yes, they're a need. I gotta match my Goomy binder! And another mat features the Substitute Ditto artwork. There's also another that has a bunch of Ditto faces on it. So, yes, I need the playmats. 👀

Honestly, I've worked very hard in physical therapy, and have seen much improvement. I can move my arm more than I could before PT and my shoulder doesn't wake me up every night anymore. So, I'm not disappointed that I'm still in PT. It's just unfortunate that nothing can fully repair the damage.

It's super frustrating that this shoulder injury will never leave me. Six months of physical therapy and a shoulder injection have provided occasional relief, but it can't be fixed. Surgery also doesn't fix it, and I'm not a candidate (which I'm VERY thankful for), so that's not an answer either. 🥲

When life gives you lemons, you eat the lemons.

Separately, I did get one of those very rare Pokémon to spawn tonight. I think I set up two habitats for it and they have been there for almost two weeks now. Sometimes, I get a rare spawn right away, and other times, it takes what feels like years.

So, I'm playing Pokopia like normal and I finally get the items for a habitat I was CERTAIN would have a particular Pokémon in it. Well, I waited and I definitely didn't get that Pokémon. (I didn't have the silhouette, but I was so sure!) 👀

I wasn't disappointed, just...well...I can't explain it.

I don't have words, but just know that I am thinking of you. 😞

I'm really enjoying the Pokémon cloud island collaborations Pokémon is doing. I'm not familiar with the celebrities, but they're obviously people that kids in Japan would know. I haven't checked out any of the cloud islands yet, but I think that's what I'll do this afternoon or tomorrow.

I’ve spent the whole day resting, so maybe I’ll open the cards on Monday? I’m so excited! I never find Pokémon cards at MSRP, so I don’t buy them very often. Thanks to yesterday’s trip outdoors, I was able to get everything I wanted! It was pouring rain, but I had things to keep me warm.

I made it to the counter to get my two blister packs and they weren’t using the tickets they spent time handing out? It was a limit of two per item instead of the 10 staff said, so I was able to get an ETB after all!

I don’t understand why it took 1.5 hours to check out. Doesn’t make sense.

I also had to go through three lines before going inside. Still waiting, in the rain. Someone gave me their ticket for MTG x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a Pizza Bundle. They decided to leave the line. The cards do look nice, but I think I might just stick to Pokémon today.

Waiting in line for Pokémon Perfect Order and they let people get tickets for 10 of each item. 10 display sets is WILD. I have vouchers for two 3-pack blisters. They were sold out of everything after that. Apparently, the cash register won’t let people actually buy 10, so there’s hope?

During last night’s The Academy #Oscars show on ABC, Conan O'Brien insensitively used #lupus as a joke, highlighting the need for lupus awareness & education. Lupus is a chronic disease that can cause inflammation, pain & can be fatal.

Sickle Cell Disease does not run in my family, fortunately. It's horrible to live with. As someone who lives with chronic pain coming from fibromyalgia, spinal stenosis, FND and Hashimoto's, I can't imagine what these people are living with. Funding medical research helps us improve people's lives.

I'm sure it was quite frustrating for me. I'm just terribly stubborn and tried to finish a story component past the 2.5-hour mark I set for myself (due to the fact that it was so late). No regrets though!

Well, the elevator is out at my workplace today and this means I can't do my job because it's how I go between floors. I guess I'll stream this afternoon? I was trying to finish some things in Rocky Ridge, but my tired brain couldn't figure out what was going on near the end. 😅

My migraine medication is officially a month overdue because of insurance issues. Every time I call, they tell me my request will be expedited and completed in 2-3 business days. Also, they said someone would contact me today and no one did. I really thought this was going to turn around. 😫

Also, I really, really wanted to stream today because there's something I found and I wanted to wait. I do lots of stuff offline and I'm not trying to stream my entire play through, just interesting small bits of the game as I try to ease back in to streaming. Hopefully, soon!

Pokémon Pokopia is amazing! It's so fun. I'm finding all of these little things. I'm feeling like garbage at the moment, so this mindless digging I'm doing is very rewarding. Dig, dig, dig. Then, the Pokémon say, "Looking great! You did it! You're awesome!"

NPCs are giving me the love I need.

It's only been a month of headaches, but I think I have sorted out the issues with my insurance so that I can finally obtain my migraine medication again. Separately, I've had an issue getting approval for the right type of therapy for my shoulder, but I think that's sorted too.
