Many people who visit #DunorlanPark are not aware of the Victoria Cross Grove near the Bayhall Rd entrance. There was a poignant Remembrance Day service there today. Wreaths were laid at the monument commemorating the 10 VC holders with connections to #TunbridgeWells.

I was so sad today to see one of the beautifully painted utility cabinets in Calverley Precinct #TunbridgeWells badly damaged. No idea when/how it happened. Hope they've identified who is responsible.

I was there too! It was a lovely afternoon. So fantastic to see so many people of all ages enjoying the music. Me and my great friend Jane in the shade.

I love Common Terns! Must watch out for them in Dunorlan.

There have been some impressive businesses there. However, in my opinion, it's a very unattractive corridor. Be better if tables were at the side rather than in the middle and fully roofed. I feel so sad for the people trying to make a go of it.

#TunbridgeWells people - lovely community event coming up on Sunday 22 June at #Hawkenbury Rec. Organised by Friends of the Rec. It's our 4th annual event organised by volunteers who love our local area. Lots to enjoy. ๐Ÿคž for good weather.

When I was in Brighton, often had them in the garden. Lovely creatures.

This afternoon I had a lovely time helping out at friends' Open Gardens event in #TunbridgeWells. I was dispensing tea, coffee and cakes. The visitors were so lovely and confirmed my view of what a great community we have. Lots of money raised for Hospice in the Weald and In Bloom.

Sorry to miss that out and also the beautiful grounds of Hawkenbury Cemetery.

How lucky we are to have so many green spaces within #TunbridgeWells town. Does any other town of similar size have such a variety? Each Park, Rec and the Commons has its own distinct character. Be nice if we had a "Green Chain Walk" guide for visitors. Maybe there is one already - anyone know?

Some pollinators visible today but it was surprisingly windy. I think more will be around at calmer times.

I believe it was a mat containing all the seeds. Kasia organised it.

Must have a look there. We are so lucky to have so many parks and the Commons. I can't think of another town of comparable size with so many beautiful green spaces.

This morning I visited Dunorlan Park #TunbridgeWells. I was amazed at the beautiful wild flower bed planted by the Monday Volunteers. It's been changing every few weeks and at its most beautiful now.

I'm absolutely loving these long early summer evenings and so happy to think it's another month to go before the Longest Day.

Loads of coffee shops in #TunbridgeWells & most other places but they don't have the smell of roasting coffee like Importers which used to be on Monson Road. Just back from a trip to Lancashire and it was a joy to find a combined coffee shop and roastery. e-coffee.co.uk/about-us/
