A sea of bluebells through a woodland in East Sussex, leaves of the tree canopy just starting to unfurl giving a dappled green hue to the woodland floor, with beams of sunshine highlighting the blue.

Hyacinthoides non-scripta, the English bluebell. Graceful, delicate and intense blue, with a soft sweet scent. Out now just before the tree canopy blocks the light. Please stick to the paths so they can be enjoyed by future generations.
