In #mathstoday I showed my students what a 95% confidence interval actually means by using Excel and taking 100 random samples and seeing that the population mean was only within the interval 95% of the time.
Today the inestimable @studymaths.bsky.social led our student teachers on a fab day of insights. It was so good! Including prime factorisation, ratio tables, task design, completion tables and #blankisbest. Wonderful stuff! Thanks Jonny 😁
Yeah, but if they don’t code ‘hello world’ as their first project, every future program will be blighted with untold bugs and a coding-curse will be on them til the end of days. So maybe make snake their second project 😂.
