Imagine being so unpopular the majority of the country supported impeachment despite knowing it would mean J.D. Vance became president.

All three are good. I particularly like the third one.
Rainbow Brite
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians
Sky High
Not sure it's niche enough, but I've had a take on Care Bears as sci-fi/psychological horror percolating in the back of my head for a few decades now.
I watched Aguirre, Wrath of God for the first time, and I loved it, but I didn't LOVE IT love it. Worried this will damage my already dubious #filmsky cred.
If anyone has any context for this - maybe a link or an explanation prepared - could you do me a solid and delete it proactively, so I can die happy without ever having to know what that unhinged crap is even about?
Thanks in advance!
"I'm a tenth-level vice president."
This movie is good. This movie is SO GOOD.
Also, Warner Bros still owes us that Batgirl movie, no matter what evil corporation winds up owning them.
Squirrel Girl, obviously.
If that's too general, start with Ryan North and Erica Henderson's run.
If you're wondering whether I'm this awkward in real life, rest assured I'm not.
Here I get to revise my thoughts. I'm WAY more awkward in the real world.
The only thing better than a Tim Curry performance in a great movie is a Tim Curry performance in an awful movie.
The man is a legend.
Also, he's in Legend. I wasn't going for that pun, but I stumbled across it and here we are.
He's really good in Legend, and I don't even like Legend that much.
I know there are exceptions: there were some incredible movies in the 90's. But compared to pretty much any other decade, it was a weak ten years.
I really think those of us who grew up in the 90's were unusually lucky to be surrounded by amazing, diverse music.
And in terms of the movies and TV we had... did I mention how lucky we were to have all that great music?
Now THAT'S an unpopular take. Well played.
Also, to anyone who comes across this: I don't know this guy. I'm not with him.
I disagree with your juice take less vehemently than I disagree with your soda take, if that helps.
Start by writing a short prequel chapter that won't be part of the finished piece. Use it to shape the voice and style you'll be using, to get a better feel for the characters or setting, and/or to build momentum.
I 100% agree with your first post and vehemently disagree with your second.
Well played, I suppose.
Related: the best Iron Man is the second one. Yes, I'm serious.
I'm not crazy about Bruce Springsteen's music. Like, it's not bad, but I mostly find it generic. Passable.
I realize this is more a lack of an opinion, but I'm pretty sure it's an unpopular anti-opinion, so I'm counting it.
Most Marvel movies are still good.
The Rotten Tomatoes critics score is a useful tool.
Pineapple is one of the best pizza toppings, s-tier, up there with pepperoni.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but the online influencers are not the problem here.
Sounds fun. I can't wait to check it out on YouTube.
I don't really think it works for other superheroes (Flash's rogues gallery is weird and diverse, and Superman's includes a bunch of wacky, costumed thieves and monsters specifically calibrated to Superman), but it's a solid summary of Batman's!
There are counterexamples (The Riddler, Catwoman, and Penguin being the obvious ones), but for the most part it holds up for most of the character's history.
Possibly the best summary of Batman's rogues gallery ever?
On second though, it's not a bad choice, assuming it's immediately followed by, "I hereby tender my resignation as president."
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Did they pick that passage at random, or have they just completely lost the ability to perceive irony?
