I illustrated this three years ago for Poster Heroes, in the edition focused on disability. I wanted to represent those invisible or not immediately recognizable disabilities, the ones that often can't be seen but are there, and that deserve the same space and recognition.
A colorful flat-style illustration of a person with closed eyes and a serene expression, red braided hair, and dark hair with raindrop motifs on top. Surrounding their head is a vibrant arrangement of fantastical flowers, a rainbow, stars, clouds, and cosmic elements in shades of teal, blue, pink, yellow, and orange, all set against a teal background.
Every mind blooms in its own way. 🌸
Autistic people don't need to be a genius or a Sheldon Cooper to deserve rights and inclusion. They need access, support, opportunities and acceptance.
Awareness is not enough. Rights without exceptions.

A cheerful orange crab with big, googly eyes is cutting out a white paper star against a blue gradient background. Scattered around the crab are a lightning bolt shape and some white triangular pieces of paper. The playful text at the top reads, "Shape new lights".
As these are the shortest days of the year, this little crab has cut out a star to brighten up the sky! ✂️⭐ Shape new lights to create a bright and creative year ahead!
🤦🏻♂️ #lafatica
Illustration of a smiling person dressed as a Christmas tree, wearing earmuffs and a red scarf, holding a bright white star at the center. The figure stands on a pink textured shape, with soft pastel colors and simple geometric details.
Starting the holiday mood with a tiny spark of colour 🌟
This is the same organisation that commissioned me many illustrations promoting difference and inclusion, also for transgender children. I’m shocked by this new direction 😳

A framed illustration of a small bird perched on a person’s raised hand. The bird holds a tiny glowing star in its beak against a deep blue sky with scattered stars. The style is soft, minimal and atmospheric.
“Hope is a Spark” is now available again on RoomFifty.
It’s one of the pieces I’m bringing back for this new edition – a small reminder that hope can be intangible, abstract, and still give you the strength not to surrender.

🤪 (io impazzirei)
