Happy World Autism Day!
I had never heard of autism until my twins were diagnosed with it. I kept saying “ they are just taking after me”. I got diagnosed with autism that same day and my other 4 children shortly after.
We have the best conversations! I love them so much.

It's #WorldAutismDay. Me and my brother have autism and it makes me different and I'm proud to be who I am, and no one can change me.
💜: Agent has a superpower, he said! He can hyper focus on very specific things for a long time.
👓: Vanessa, that's not a superpower, that's autism.
💜: Yeah, it IS pretty autism, isn't it?~
👓: Anyway, happy #WorldAutismDay today.
Love this picture!

Presidential Message on Autism Awareness Day The White House April 2, 2026
Today, we recognize Americans with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), whose talents, character, and determination strengthen our Nation and enrich our communities. Every child is made in the image and likeness of God, with inherent dignity, purpose, and worth. The lives of those with autism reflect that truth in powerful ways, bringing joy, insight, and inspiration to their families, communities, and our country. My Administration remains committed to ensuring that individuals living with autism have the support and resources they need to reach their full potential.
Can you please keep your god away from our government?!?! 🙄
Personally, not a fan of the “disorder” language to describe Autism, because I don’t feel as if my Autism is a “disorder”.
Honey, I expected this to be much worse.

Always Accepted #Bluey #BlueyOC #AutismAcceptance #WorldAutismMonth #WorldAutismDay
Traditional, watercolor artwork by me which shows a humanoid figure sitting on a globe made from puzzle pieces. She holds a piece of puzzle in her own hand of the same color of the globe. Behind her, there's an explosion of warm colors, as if lava was erupting from volcanos into the black, starry sky. In capital letters, there's written "Autism acceptance and awareness month". There's also purple aurora with cursive letters written in white "get to know me this month, to support me throughout the year!". The Person sitting on the globe is depicted asian and female presenting, has short, thick, black hair cut shoulder long into a bob cut. She has thick eye brows, almond shaped brown eyes and wears wine-colored glasses and an infinity symbole hair clip. She wears a yellow-green jacket with an aromantic-flag pin, dark blue jeans and a purple T-shirt with a pink axolotl as well as yellow-orange striped socks.
Same picture as before, but zoomed out intentionally to also depict the art supplies used for this painting. Left: a box of several watercolor crayons. Upper midde: an opened watercolor-set. Right: Alcohol markers for the aromantic pin and the infinity symbol pin. Upper right corner: My painting water.
Finished pic for #WorldAutismDay today and #AutismAcceptanceMonth
It's not just today, not just this month, but all the time, my entire life. I was born with autism and it won't go away anytime soon, so please be accepting of people like us. :D
