Fairly chunky bee, dark with orange-red hairs on stripy abdomen, and two dark protruberances on its face amongst some paler hairs - sunning itself on a shiny, slightly rough, serrated-edge leaf.
Another bee on a smaller, vivid green leaf in the sunshine - dense rings of grey-yellow hairs around its body with a tuft of hair on its face.
Rotund little bumblebee seen from above with orange, fluffy thorax and dark, shiny abdomen with rings of paler hairs - hovering, its wings a blur, just beneath a yellow dead-nettle flower.
Slender, almost wasp-like bee - abdomen with bright, pale yellow stripes against a black background, head and thorax a rough, mottled red-brown-black. Compressing itself against a large leaf in the sunshine, looking like it's possibly up to no good. (They lay eggs in the nests of other bees!)
